Itasca State Park
Established in 1891, Itasca is Minnesota's oldest state park. It totals over 32,000 acres, and includes more than 100 lakes. Visit the Mississippi River, towering pines, the Itasca Indian Cemetery and other historical landmarks, or see the 2,000 acre wildlife santuary.

Lake Bemidji State Park
A great year-round park, as it offers its visitors great swimming, biking, fishing, and camping while it's warm, and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing in the winter. Naturalist programs and tours are available year-round.
